I am an electronic artist, primarily creating video installations and 3D printed sculptures and wearables. The 3D prints are created in CAD software, such as Fusion 360 or MeshMixer. My 3D printed sculptures and wearables often function as an extra appendage to the human body in the form of “wetware.” To create this work, I use a microcontroller, code, sensors, and modules to drive the sculpture or wearable.
I am fascinated by video art as it allows one to build and experience a new reality. I often push the limits of the camera to find new ways to distort or bend the camera’s abilities. After shooting video, I edit with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. The final video is then projected over sculptures and/or nature so that it may be appreciated as both a two-dimensional and three-dimensional form.
