Haley Etheridge is an artist that works with both digital and traditional mediums. Her work strives to elicit a wide range of emotions from the audience through visual storytelling and unique but relatable characterization. Her goal is to explore complex emotions such as love, loss, relationships, and the struggles and triumphs of the individual by creating a vicarious experience that is both safe and enjoyable. Her current focus has been on the exchange that occurs between mediums and how they influence our interpretation of a piece. She is particularly interested in the idea of the “artist’s hand” that exists in traditional mediums and strives to create that same unique quality in her digital pieces.
